windward (adj.)
facing the direction from which the wind (or a storm) is blowing
To face windward in environmental terms means to be exposed to harsher conditions, challenging forces, and uncertain horizons - but it also means that by facing the storms, you are able to control your path beyond them, control your course, and foster an environment more layered, vibrant, and full of life. The approach of Windward Counseling & Consulting is similar - we aim to help you face the winds of life, weather your storms, and all that comes with it to create a version of you that is feels authentic, understood, and healing.
